Acoustic Plus Dual Bloc is a 35mm composite acoustical suspended ceiling tile. The combination of sound absorbing glass fibre laminated to a plasterboard attenuator backer is engineered to provide the dual benefit of sound absorption at NRC. 70 and a high level of attenuation at CAC 42 for cost effective control of both reverberation and transmitted noise from adjacent rooms.

Acoustic Plus Dual Bloc will also provide attenuation of rain noise under metal roofing and muffle noise caused by ventilation ducting and is suitable for the following applications: schools, office meeting rooms, medical consultation rooms and general partitioned areas. The Dual Bloc has been specified into multiple healthcare tenancies where it is required to have high levels of room-to-room patient privacy and a hygienic, cleanable ceiling surface. Hygienic surface finish meets Biodet reference 11/16958 ie. will not support an active level of microbial growth (bacteria, fungi and actinomycetes).
